A change of car for the 2023 season saw Michael step into the Kobelco Camaro, letting go of the Mustang which was the oldest car in the field. With new backing from Turps Tippers, Michael finished 10th overall in the series, however the highlight of the year was sharing the Camaro with his father Steve in the Darwin King of the North round, finishing a great second to Dylan Thomas and Tim Brook in the first two driver feature race on the Saturday. The blue in Michael’s blood has risen to the surface again and he will be back in a Ford for 2024, recently acquiring Hugh McAlister’s Mustang.
