Despite a long career in many forms of the sport, the hunger to nail a national championship fed a desire to make 2023 count and Dylan delivered a feast for the team. Coming out of Round Two in the series lead, he was never headed for the rest of the season despite being under pressure right up until the final race at Calder Park.  Tim Brook and Dylan won the $20,000 TA2 King of the North round in a polished strategic performance from Nathan Herne and Brad Gartner to take the points lead which came under threat from 5 other drivers during the season. His only blemish was a brush with the wall at Calder during an evaluation run to see if the track was suitable to race on. A hands-on effort saw the CXC Mustang repaired in time for Dylan to play it safe and take enough points to cement an 18-point series lead and claim the series title. A worthy Champion.
