Son of speedway star Brett Thomas and younger brother of TA2 competitor Josh Thomas, Diesel will be making his TA2 Racing Series debut in the third TFH Hire Ford Mustang in 2025. Part of the “2025 Rookie Class”, Diesel has previously raced with success in the Excel Series, the Toyota 86 Scholarship class, and in February 2025, even expanded his racing horizons by competing in the New Zealand Formula Ford Championship at Highlands Motorsport Park in Cromwell with impressive results. His off season testing times have been impressive and he’s shaping up as one of the favourites to take out Rookie honours.
