Australian Motor Racing Series (AMRS) management wishes to advise Round 3 of the series (Round 2 of the 2021 PROMAXX Performance Exhausts TA2 Muscle Car Series), scheduled to be held at Winton Raceway on 11-13 June, has been postponed until 16-18 July due to the current Victorian COVID-19 lockdown situation.
AMRS Series Manager Matt Baragwanath said the decision to postpone the event has come after consultation with the categories participating at the race meeting.
“While the current Victorian lockdown and uncertainty about border restrictions made it necessary to postpone the event, we’re pleased we have been able to find a replacement date in July,” Baragwanath said. “I would especially like to thank the management team at Winton Raceway for accommodating our rescheduling request, along with the AMRS competitors and categories for their flexibility in accepting the date change.”Categories on the programme for Round 3 of the AMRS will be Super GT, PROMAXX Performance Exhaust TA2 Muscle Car Series, Thunder Sports, Australian Formula Ford Championship, Australian Formula 3 (and invited) Championship, Enduro Champs and Victorian Sedan Series.
