Extra rounds and increased television coverage for 2025 TA2 Series

The 2025 TFH Hire TA2 Muscle Car Series - framed by HYTEK Steel Framing has officially revealed its calendar, featuring seven rounds at some of Australia’s most iconic circuits.

The 2025 season will see the TA2 Muscle Car Series again headline six rounds of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series, including Winton Motor Raceway (February 28th-March 2nd), Sydney Motorsport Park (May 30th-June 1st), Queensland Raceway 2 Days of Thunder (June 27-29), Queensland Raceway (August 15th-17th), Mallala Raceway (September 26-28) and Winton Motor Raceway (October 31 - November 2)

Adding to the excitement, the TA2 Muscle Car Series will join the National Trans Am Series for a combined grid at the legendary Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour from April 18th-20th, treating fans to a spectacular display of V8-powered racing at Mount Panorama.

The calendar also highlights a first-time appearance at Mallala Motorsport Park South Australia, September 27-29, marking a significant return of national-level racing to the South Australian circuit.

The TA2 Muscle Car Series will also feature another two-driver event at Queensland Raceway’s August 15th to 17th meeting, following the precedence set with Darwin in 2023 and Tailem Bend 2024, as well as returning to Sydney Motorsport Park racing under lights for a mid-season event.

The final round of the 2025 TFH Hire Muscle Car Series - framed by HYTEK Steel Framing will return to Winton Motor Raceway October 31 - November 2.

Each round will feature streaming and television coverage, with at least 8 hours live on SBS Speedweek from each Hi-Tec Super Series round, simulcast on Fox Sports and Kayo.

The new owner’s group, headed by regular TA2 competitor Mark Crutcher is excited about the year ahead.

QUOTES

Matt MacKelden, Category Manager - TA2 Muscle Car Series
“This calendar represents what our drivers, new owners and corporate partners want, which was a combination of fast flowing circuits plus some shorter, more technical venues and a Free To Air Television package, and I think we’ve delivered that. Like all racing categories, television is very important so a combination of both Hi-Tech Oil Super Series, plus the Bathurst 6 Hour with Trans Am will provide great value to our drivers, their sponsors and our corporate partners.”

Mark Crutcher, Series Co-Owner and driver - #4 Crutcher Developments Ford Mustang
“We have been working very hard to finalise a calendar which offers the right balance on some of the great tracks in Australia, plus adding new events such as Mallala and the Bathurst 6 Hour. Joining Trans AM at Mt Panorama will deliver a fantastic field and a great spectacle, plus supporting George Gambino’s Hi-Tec Oils Super Series as the headline act for all other rounds gives our teams a great platform to benefit from live free to air  media coverage.”
