The name Holinger is synonymous with motorsport. The Australian gear- box company has become world renowned for the quality of the product and after racing bikes for many years, John has stepped into TA2 and is enjoying the retro “four on the floor” gearbox experience. He brushed off a major incident at 250 kph down Conrod Straight earlier this year when the Camaro become airborne and slammed into the wall as “nothing com- pared to coming off a bike.” Engineered by Les Small, famous for building the Chickadee Commodore that gave Gricey his first Bathurst win, John is now a regular on the podium in the Circo Master Class and moving further up the grid at every round.
