The legend goes that having a green race car is bad luck! Maybe that rumour was started by Dick Johnson after clouting the wall at Forest Elbow in the Greens Tuf Falcon in 1983, however I’m sure Josh and his team were thinking the same by mid-season this year. Out of the box, the Elvin Group Camaro was super quick however a number of issues early in the season handicapped what would have been a top 3 result. Never- theless, this kid raced side by side with Jett Johnson at Tailem Bend and Sydney Motorsport Park, taking his first TA2 race wins and finishing 6th overall, despite not doing the final round due to a shoulder reconstruction. He won the Wilwood Big Braker Award for outstanding performances this year so expect him to “brake” much deeper into the series point score for 2023.
