Job Title: International Racing Driver

Don Dimitriadis #2

Previous Racing History

Don Dimitriadis is a well-known historic racer in Australia, and has made the move to a modern racing car with TA2. Dimitriadis first experienced the thrill of racing at the 2006 Cobra Nationals at Wakefield Park. Having enjoyed watching the heroes of days past over many years and finally getting to experience it, he was instantly hooked! Dimitriadis began circuit racing in a HQ Holden and raced in the NSW State Titles for two years to learn the art of door-to-door motor racing, he also raced in historic sports car competition for many years in a Cobra and then a GT40 and a Shelby GT350 Mustang in HSRCA and FoSC events.

As an enthusiast of the glory days of Trans-Am racing in the late 60s and early 70s, Dimitriadis had the opportunity to buy the ex-Dan Gurney Kar Kraft 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302 which he continues to race in the Historic Trans-Am category in the United States for cars of the Trans-Am era in original, period-correct condition.
